I don’t really like how fairies put down their wings in so many situations, to the point you end up rarely seeing their beautiful wing designs. So to avoid overriding so many situations to enable wings, I simply changed the action to put them down to just do the opposite. The wings stay on even during sleep, so it might not be everyone’s preference. I like it because it’s incredibly patch-proof and easy to maintain, and having Sims clip/reset just by existing already in vanilla game, kind of negates the issues of wings clipping through some chairs and bedding IMO.
