Sims 4 Decor with a Purpose: Functional Vampires Radiator

I actually created this a while ago for myself and then forgot about it. So now that I started uploading mods I recreated it to make sure I did it right.

This is an override for a Vampires item. It will continue to appear in all the same categories as before plus now appearing in the Electronics category.

Update 9/9:

• Added a Seasons compatible version. It requires Vampires and Seasons rather than Vampires and Snowy Escape. The SE version is unchanged.
• Renamed the mod to make sense for both versions.
• You can not use both at once. If you have both Seasons and Snowy Escape just decide which functionality you want.

Pack Requirements:

• The tuning for the SE version is based on the Snowy Escape space heater and uses those buffs so this requires both Vampires and Snowy Escape.
• The tuning for the SNS version is based on the Seasons thermostat and uses those buffs so this requires both Vampires and Seasons.

For the Snowy Escape version, unlike the space heater there is no visual indicator that the heater is on. It actually originally inherited the glowing lines but I removed them because floating red lines look stupid. You just have to figure it out from the buffs and from clicking. I haven’t had a radiator since I was a kid but I don’t remember those having a visual indicator anyway.

It’s also worth noting that the new strings in the Seasons version are in English only at the moment. I don’t speak any other languages nearly well enough to translate them so I welcome any translations that anyone can offer and will credit all translators so please reach out if you can and want to help.

Known issues

• The Seasons version buffs still say "thermostat" instead of "radiator". I need to find where those strings are to replace them.

How to Download Custom Content on Sims 4 ?

1.Download the package

2.Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods. Moving the custom content into the Mods folder.

3.Make sure the custom content works in your game.
